The Hotel Fuerte Conil and Hotel Fuerte Costa Luz: located on the beachfront, next to the old fishing village of Conil de la Frontera. The Hotel Fuerte Grazalema: located right in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Nature Park and a just a few kilometres from Ronda. There are 440 Biosphere Reserves in the world. Spain has 26 reserves, the third highest ranking in the world. Andalusia is the Community with the greatest number of these areas, with 8 in total (40% of Spain’s surface area). Our hotels are right next to 6 of these reserves in Andalusia: Fuerte Marbella and Fuerte Miramar-SPA are 8 Km from Sierra de las Nieves and its surroundings; Sierra de Grazalema nature park is only 5 Km from Fuerte Grazalema; Fuerte el Rompido is 15 Km from las Marismas del Odiel, 119 Km from las Dehesas de Sierra Morena and 91 Km from the Doñana National Park. The Sierra Nevada National Park is 109 Km from Fuerte la Herradura.

OUR HISTORY
Our tradition of service to our clients is based on a long history that began with Hotel el Fuerte, a pioneer hotel that opened in Marbella on the 4th of July 1957. Learn about the Group’s history.

Internal and external audits certify that we continue to meet quality standards and this has been recognised over the years with many awards and distinctions.
COLLABORATION WITH FUNDACIÓN FUERTE
The Fundación Fuerte, (Fuerte Foundation) emerged as a result of the values which have long been fundamental to the soul of this family business for 50 years (1957-2007), This is summarised in our slogan: "Caring for People and the Environment".
The creation of the Fundación Fuerte (taking the name of our first Hotel, El Fuerte) was encouraged by both the President and Members of the Board of Directors at Grupo El Fuerte. Its mission is to promote social and cultural development initiatives encompassing everyone, but especially focusing on the family, children and teenagers.
