Letter from the President

Grupo El Fuerte was born in 1957 when its founder, José Luque Manzano, opened the Hotel el Fuerte in Marbella. This visionary, a native of Estepa, Seville, and a straightforward and entrepreneurial man by nature, built his project on the pillars that to this day sustain our business and are recognised in our Ethical Code.

After 50 years of service under our belt and thanks to the people who, day after day have trusted in our original business practices, we have been able to face up to many challenges:  growth, and diversification, both in the sector and geographically, continuous innovation and foundation.

In all of these challenges we try to be true to our motto: we care for people and for the environment. Because we value our history, we believe in the future, and that’s where we hope to keep on with the trust of those who have been with us up until now, and of course, with all of You.
